Bryophyllum. Gloxinia. Flowerbed

Filed under: gloxinia, tiger jaw, bryophyllum, jasmine, cuphea, durtan variegated, alternanthera, hydrangea — mukaketupat @ 11:37 am

Found out the name of the lookalike tiger jaw plant. Its bryophyllum
crenatodaigremontianum
(thanks to elfinn for the info). Planted them last friday and they’re looking good and growing really fast.

My little gloxinia’s that i propagated about a week ago are doing pretty well..

I think they’ve grown a little. I still cover them with plastic/cling wrap most of the time and they seem happier that way.

Got some plants for my flowerbed…

Cuphea, variegated, alternanthera and jasmine.

Cuphea

Jasmine Sambac ‘Maid of Orleans’ (thanks to notanatural)

And my hydrangea is flowering. :)

Tiger Jaw?

Filed under: tiger jaw — mukaketupat @ 5:33 pm

I’ve been eyeing my collegue’s plant for awhile now. I have no idea what it is…looks like tiger jaw…but…they’re not..

It was really tiny when she first got it, then it grew and grew and grew. You see the tiny bits growing around it? Well they eventually dropped. She collected them and scattered them in the garden that we have outside. Now we have many of these in the garden. So i’m taking some of the babies home today. (with her permission of course!)
